It was insane, I was surfing while listening to: ugly casanova and interpol and belle and sebastian and rilo kiley! i swear, i never felt so happy and amazing as i did as i dropped in on a wave and rode down the line while listening to with arms outstretched. it truly was unreal.

My brother is the most amazing kid ever,
his birthday dinner last night was delicious.
and he loved my presents, which made me so happy!
We felt infinite on the drive home, which was the best.
I'm beyond thrilled/glad/lucky/blessed to have my brother in my life...
he makes me happier than mooshie cookies and rainbows,
well, he is my rainbow of goodness!

He's taught me all I know!

allthough his mullets gone...the legend still lives on!

Here's a story I wrote last year,
Niko liked it :

The sky was completely blue,
the kind of blue that you would find on a round peice bubble gum purchased from a machine for 25 cents outside of the beauty supply store.
It was an extremely crowded day at Surfrider beach. The sun was shining, hitting womens backs that were full of oils and icky smells. Children lined the shore digging holes,building sandcastles, and running away from the tiny waves that crashed. The longboarders rode endless waves from point A to point B...and amongst all the chaos, there sat a tiny girl underneath an umbrella with her father.

The temperature had to be about 90 degrees...one of the hottest days of the summer. All of the little girl's friends were splashing about effortlessly in the sea of blue and green dreams. Yet this little girl lay under her umbrella, in long grey sweatpants. When the other kids called her to come play in the water, she shrugged, and dug her toes into the sand. Her heart longed to be with them in that sea of dreams...yet at that same moment it was her mind that told her to stay put.

Although it was the hottest day of the summer, the little girl could see and feel nothing but grey and cold. Just as a tear was developing in her heart and about to make it's way to her eye..the girls life seemed to brighten up. The sun came down in the form of a fragile brown puppy. The dog was young and little, much like the girl. His owner was approaching the beach, with a large group of about 5 boxer puppies, that looked to be about 3 months old. All of the puppies were full of life and exitement. They ran in front of their owner, leaping one over the other. It seemed as though the entire beach wanted to get their hands on the puppies. The little girl could hear questions being called out, "are they for sale!?" "how much?" "how old.." "can i take one now!?"

The girl tugged on her fathers shoulder, and he looked down at his 5 year old daughter's bright eyes and theraputic smile. "you wanna go see the puppies?" he asked her
"no...you go look...bring one over here daddy"
her dad listened, and walked over to the group of puppies.

As she was waiting for her father to fill her in about the dogs...she heard a panting noise behind her. she turned around to find one of the boxer puppies. he was far tinier than the rest, and he was missing one leg. he limped closer to her, his tiny nub of a tale wagging. He leaned in very close to the girl, and started kissing her on the cheek. The girls face filled with color and joy at her new found compaionship. She embraced the puppy in her arms...she was in love!

Soon after, her father and the owner of the puppies approached her and her new found companion.
the owner spoke first,
"so, here are some healthier puppies...you want to play with these puppies sweetie?"
the girl looked up at him, her blonde hair was over her face now from the puppy mussing with her..
"no..i want this puppy pwease" she said in a sweet and innocent voice
the owner looked at the girl's father with a distorted facial expression
"how much for this one" the father asked, pointing to the crippled dog
"oh now now, you don't want that dog. That dog is crippled. he can't keep up with the other dogs, you won't have any fun with a dog like that"the owner spoke to the girl

at that, the girl loooked deep into the owners eyes...
before she said anything, she lifted up her left pant leg to display a leg that had been amputated from the knee down and shrivelled from the knee up, she smiled, as the puppy licked away her firs and last tear, and she said,

"Well it's hard for me to keep up too, and he'll need somebody who can understand that."

We played in flowers that were taller than us!
Plus they were gold...making them doubely happy!
we played at Holly's for a bit..with kids i love,
then we came home and made a FORT! it was cozy and full
of pillows and blankies..and we colored! and watched family
guy and laughed and it was lovely!

Today Sarah and I went garage sailing in the rain...
not too successful.
BUT our mudsliding was extremely successful,
as was eating sweedish pancakes at EGGS N THINGS!

so far the weekends been lovely,

im about to go to dinner for BIG BWOTHERS BIRTHDAY!

i got him julien donkey boy on dvd and a werner horzog book!
he should smile!

MICHAEL: He was changing back from the gay side. You know, i was trying to take him out.

PAUL: take him out where?

MICHAEL: you know, like strip joints and stuff. 'cuase the first time i met him he just admitted to me that he was gay.

PAUL: i knew he was. I could tell. I used to go to school with guys like him. wealthy long island jewish boys.

MICHAEL: no, no. that's just it. he's not wealthy at all, he's completely poor.

PAUL: he is?

MICHAEL: yeah, he just looks that way. so neat and proper.

PAUL: how does he get those clothes then? how does he afford it?

MICHAEL: He's a waiter. He just goes to thrift stores. it's all an act. his clothes are all secondhand.

PAUL: really?

MICHAEL: He is so poor. that's why he spent christmas over here, he's never been to a real Christmas.

PAUL: Why?

MICHAEL: Because his family is so fucked-up, it's unbelievable. they have so many problems. his mother busted his father cheating with a twenty-year-old, um, what are they called? Those women?

PAUL: Mistresses.

MICHAEL: Yeah, his mom walked in on him and his twenty-year-old mistress on christmas Day. so for the past 8 years they haven't had a christmas. his mother refuses. also the mistress's name was June so his motehr refuses to acknowledge the month of june.

PAUL: I thought he was jewish.

MICHAEL: No, he's not. he's a terrible alcholic. he sleeps on the streets sometimes.

PAUL: Who? That guy?

MICHAEL: yep, i promise

PAUL: No.

MICHAEL: I know it's hard to tell because he acts so prim and proper.

PAUL: He wears argyle socks.

MICHAEL: He's just about the worst boozer i've ever met. especially for a young person you know.

PAUL: I just saw him dirnk wine.

MICHAEL: He'll drink anything. even soup. it doesn't have to be alchohol. he can gulp down tons of soup.

PAUL: soup?

MICHAEL: like the place he works, they have really good soup. you know, fresh soup. but it's thick, it's the thick kind, and what he'll do is pour himself a humongous bowl and let it sit for like five or ten minutes so it cools down. then he'll just dirnk like an entire bowl in like ten seconds, he just downs it, it's incredible.

basically you should read a crackup at the race riots, because harmony korine is, harmonious!

Seriously, everybody should do it! it will be beautiful

In other news, I figured my future out!
haha..seriously though

When I graduate, I am attending summer school in Oahu for 6 weeks
where I will take photography and art from 8-12 in the morning,
and surf and experience everything i possibly can for
the rest of my time...
Then I wil travel to europe with kids that I love,
I'm not quite sure if i'll go with the school trip or not,
kinberg is a tempting man to be with..!

Then when the summer ends
I'm going to go to Jr. college for 2 years to get general ed, and to save money's
I'll primarily take ....english and communications units.

The only question is: Do i yeild my time to the peace corps
BEFORE or AFTER getting my masters for teaching?

Either way, I will be long gone far off experiencing all aspects of life,
in the peace corps...This is my main: goal, my main: destination.
my big decision. I bought a huge book on it today, and my mind
is made up. My dad is scared. My mom says I'm a cuckkoo face. My brother says I'm beautiful.

When all is done, I will become an english teacher,
teach 10th grade english and creative writing at malibu highschool,
i will host the wildlife preservation club,
and i will live on heathercliff with people i love,
and a puppy dog, a bulldog to be precise. I'll surf before and after work,
i'll have summers springs and winters off to enjoy my passions,
i will travel, i will paint, i will sing, and go to amazing places,
i will love life and have an affect on people!

And I'll never be forgotten my the kids that I affect <333333333333

Finally, I figured it out, and I'm gonna be happy alwayyyyyyyys and forevvvvvvvver!

(i hope it is this simple...)

im dating now! im havin a lot of fun! i can pick and choose whover i wanna go out with-surgilite!

I started laughing til it didn't hurt! the easter bunny looked so scary! He reminded me of frank, which is no good very bad! icky bunny! but i still smiled because spring has sprung! meaning... a trip to baja for an epic 3 day surf session with none other than my brother! He took this while we were driving, I liked it, cuz i didn't know it was being taken, therefore my mouth looks silly! willy nilly sillly! i love you all, i hope the days lovely for all! EDIT: bad photos of my new 10 minute art project! I found some cardboard on my walk home...so i decided to decorate it! "Do you know there are spaces open and wide? believe me there are days that are longer than nights... and you will be happy the moment you try so wont you try?" YAY.

Last night was just grand!

I stole each and every one of these pictures from my big sisssstah, jeannie

So we (me, laura, jeannie, and justy) were on our way to see "the unicorns"
we were dancing to some real happening beats....when
jeannie glanced over and noticed that this
hugeo wall resembled the cover of figure 8.......
then we realized, it was! So we pulled over, of course,
and realized it was a huge tribute to the most brilliantly
beautiful man ever...elliott smith!

We wrote on it, and smiled, and took pictures:

Then we made the sign next to it all beautiful!

Today was a BEAUTIFUL day!
It was one of those days that's out of a movie...
where literally (knock on wood..) every little thing
went my way!

I woke up at 7:30, and the light hit me on the face, and i thought, "today's gonna be a good day!"
I rolled out of bed, put on some velvet underground toons, washed my face, threw on some jeans and a fresh cozy t shirt, and i ran/danced downstairs to find a delightful cinamon roll heated up for me..the day was starting off on a good note!

I was kinda bummed because I had to bring a check for 75 bucks to buy a physchology book that I lost...yet when I got to physchology (ON TIME FOR ONCE!) i found my book sitting right there! Physch. went quite well..we learned about memory, and it was quite interesting. We got to sit on the couches and talk for the last 15 or 20 minutes of class..and we had no homework for the first time ever! Andrew and I gathered up these scraps of paper from the hole puncher, and we threw them all over derek at nutrition, it was awesome!

Then came chemistry, i was not looking forward to my quiz/seeing icky mr sloane. As I walked into the room, a pleasent euphoric feeling overcame me when I saw we had a SUBSITUTE! we watched remember the titans and Niko, Traci, Maire and I talked the entire time about real nice things that made me happy! we talked about italian stallions, our futures, our passions, our writing, and plays! it was marvelous!

Then came lunch, Zach had subconctractor, and I saw chad there, who i had not seen since well, forever, and that was happy! seeing random people: always the best! Then I went to el polla and had some delicious fries, and a real good churro!

I walked into french class ready for my big quiz...and then Madame smiled and said SURPRISE! we're having french friday!!!!!!!!!! We watched le divorce with the simply ADORABLE Kate Hudson, and madame even passed out candy for us! My back was real sore from all the surfing, so justy gave me a masage and tess gave me tickles and it lighted up my life! I love massagies and tickies! they're the best! I love those kids...

The bell rang, and after a very relaxing french session, zach jake and i went to my home where i got some coins to bring to coinstarr. zach took me to pavilions, and as i was getting my coins out of the machine i looked down and saw some very firmiliar leather shoes....i looked up, up, and up, until i finally reached BEN'S face!!!!!! we had a very kind chat, and i was sooo glad to see him, it had been quite a while! I got 15 bucks, when i was expecting to only get about 5! Collin called me on the way out and asked me if i wanted to write some songs with him..and it made me very glad to know he cared about Franklyns Day and wants to actually work!

Then Zach took me to the mall, where I bought tickets to see M.WARD for me, alex, and justy. I'm so excited for that show, i'm going with kassi and missy and i love them to the moon and back!...
after the mall, zach and I went to valsurf and we picked up hayden to get some lunch on his break.

We went to the new WHOLE FOODS...uhm...WOW!!!! that place is like heaven, and I had about 309841239074907 real human moments with people there, everyone was so nice and hyped on the food and the place, it was like disneyland in there! The boys got some sandwhiches and i got a bajillion delightful samples, the food there is a sensation! Zach's friend NOAH works there...and i am in love with noah, and we had a chat, and it made me happier than happy! Then as i was leaving they asked for my email to get on their mailing list, i gave it to them glady, and due to that, they gave me a HUGE gormet chocolate, FOR FREE!

then hayden and i listened to morrisey and locked zach out and drove away, which was a priceless moment!
now everything was great....exept that i wasn't sure if i could go to the unicorns, cuz i didn't have a ticket...and that was stressing me out...........

then i talked to the most beautiful kid ever, laura, and her and jeannie were ordering me one offline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that made me so happy, and we're going to prety much have the best time EVER tomarow!

so then i went to coldstone to deliver justin his m.ward tickets, and he was smiling so big and he was so happy that it made me even happier, and so that was just grand! Then I saw MADISON and Court and their friend, and i had not seen madison in FOREVVVER and that just lit up the entire promenade experience times ten!

I came home and my brother left me a note asking me if i wanted to surf tonight and light up county line, and i love it when he leaves me notes..especially when it's to surf! my mom said i can't because i have sat's in the morning, but my brother and I are gonna watch a ton of surf videos instead, which should keep us happy!

today was pretty simple, but it really did feel like every little thignw ent my way! Right now I'm working on an art project for sarah's birthday...and i'm waiting for it to dry so i can keep on a working!

I'm guesing no one will read this because it's just overboard detailed out. but i had to write it allll because I don't want to forget days like today! I'm very thankful, and I love you all! And I can not wait for tomarow, even though I'm taking the sat's, i'll get to surf in the sun and go to an amazingly crazy show for a band i love with two amazing people that i love!

In history we're watching this movie:

And I really love how it's shot,
and I realy do like war movies alot...

but it's real agravating watching them
in class, because everyone's afraid to
show their natural reactions to the war scenes
and the cruelty of war...so they all laugh,
or snicker to eachother, or mock the movie,
or glance at eachother with smiles at cruel
moments that should spark real emotion in them...
but they're just too scared to show it so they hide it.

that reallly does urk me! I wish people could just
see things, and be who they are about them.

but life is great, i had a lovely day! and the sun was nice and strong,
and i went for a swim, and painted outside, and went to latigo kid
with missy and kassi and i love them and life is happy and blissful!

even though war is nasty.

Today was one of those days that I dream about every other night!
I had an extremely peaceful walk home from school,
and the entire way i was thinking, "i hope i surf today!"

As I was approached my home, I saw my wagon, with my longboard
and my shortboard ontop! My face lit up, I ran inside, put on
my bathinsuite, and we were off!

It was just my daddy and I today...we listened to the decemberists
on our way....and when we got to little dume....it was
a dream come true......I had the entire
ocean to myself.

It was so beautiful, the moment I stepped into the ocean,
everything turned gold.

I surfed about 50 waves (not exagerating)
whereas usually i surf about 15!..the sets were
coming every second, it was intense!

then my mommy told us there was an adorable white
bulldog at loves pets...so we went.....

and sure enough, she was beyond adorable!
she was about 3,000 buckers, so my daddy was like
naww....but then we found some breeders around here...

who have pups for about 1000...AND GUESS WHO WILL
QUITE POSSIBLY HAVE A BABY ENGLISH BULLDOG
BUT THE END OF THIS SCHOOL YEAR....

MEEEEEEE!

baily and spencer will have a new wittle sister,
i want to name her giovani

i want her to be black and white!

and i will love her to the moon and back and I'm so beyond happy and blessed

today was just gorgeous in every way!

i hope everyones day was beautiful and amazing! <3

Tiana: Hey.......could we do that again? I know we haven't met, but, I don't wanna be an ant, ya know? I mean, it's like we go through life with our antennas bouncing off one another continuously on "ant" autopilot with nothing really human required of us. "Stop," "Go," "Walk here," "Drive there." All action basically for survival. All communication simply to keep this ant colony buzzing along in an efficient, polite manner. "Here's your change," "Paper or plastic?", "Credit or debit?", "Do you want ketchup with that?" I don't want a straw. I want real human moments. I want to see you. I want you to see me. I don't want to give that up. I don't want to be an ant. Ya know?
Wiley: Yeah...yeah I know. I don't want to be an ant either. Thanks for kinda, like, jostling me there...I've been kinda on zombie autopilot lately. I don't feel like an ant in my head, but I guess I probably look like one.

It's kinda like D.H. Lawrence had this idea of two people meeting on a road, and instead of just passing and glancing away, they decide to accept what he calls the confrontation between their souls. It's like freeing the brave, reckless gods within us all.

I got up at sunrise to surf this morning,
and I wondered what the other peoples
faces looked like at that moment, if they were
outside as well and their eyes were being
widened by the morning light,
and i wondered who else was
truly happy to be surrounded in that light.

I sat in S.A.T class wondering what every body else was wondering about
I wondered why the girl to my right was causing a scene,
when it was clear no body was looking or paying attention...
but i was paying attention!

I bought some clothes from aardvarks today, i got a sweater that
I am now in love with, and i wondered who was in love with it
before me, and why they got rid of such a lovely sweater

I read a passage about a school teacher, and how difficult the job is,
and how they really should get paid more money, and I though, "ya, they should"
then i realized, my mom is a teacher, and i neve really thought about it,
but i know i'll never forget my second grade teacher, Ms. Taylor,
and I wonder how many kids never forgot my mom

I smiled at about 25 or so people today, half of them smiled back,
and I wondered if they will remember my face..or if my smile
may have made them at least .5% happier, because most of them looked
a little bit sad

I listented to brown park by son, ambulance. And i wondered how many people
truly loved that song...how many people were affected by it, how many
people smiled today while they listented to it,

I watched the latest episode of degrassi, and i wondered why and how
i was so darn attached to craig, and why i was truly destraught over
the problems he's going through. I wondered who else cried when they
found out that Snake was cancer free.

The weekend has begun!
collin and i played after school
bryce zach hayden and i ate
some crazy food and had adventures
in the valley...and we skateboarded
those streets, and i took some pictures
of them skateboarding this spot we found!

Then some more REALLY neat neat neat
kids came over and it was quite good
fun!

everyone has left now, and I'm eating cookies,
girl scout cookies..thin mint girl scout cookies!

Naz asked me who the smiths were
I told her they're a band that could change her life,
but never will!
She got confuseeeeeed so i told her i was
just kidding, and i said they're a real neat band with some happening beats!
she understood

i read this awful passage in s.a.t class
about what makes people respond to art and
why people like certain pieces of art.
it was written by this pompus idiot,
who thought he had all the answers, and he siad
that people can only respond to art that is not
abstract, because people need to be able to
relate to the characters in the paintings.
and he said it was the same with music...
that if the people could not connect with the
figures being sung about in the music, who the
writer reffered to as, "Jane and Tom"...then the
people would not apreciate and or listen to the music,
because they have no connection to it.

I then had to answer about 10 or so questions
about this morons views!

other than that, life is beautiful and amazing,
I have not surfed since the weekend,
but today i hung out at val surf for a few hours
barker and torey and all them came in, and it was
SO happy! good play time with hayden and zach,
and I got some new art magazines.

this weekend I'm going to the beautiful losers art galery,
and i simply can not wait!

With a name like BEAUTIFUL LOSERS...you honestly can not go wrong!
